Studies have shown that music plays an "instrumental" role in brain plasticity and development. Moss School of Music incorporates the artistic and scientific benefits of music into our curriculum and strives to maintain the highest standards of excellence in our academic delivery. 

 

Piano

We offer basic, intermediate, and advanced piano lessons for students ages 5-adult. Lessons are typically 30 minutes to 45-minutes in length. Students work on developing note reading skills, chord structures, and playing by ear. Classical piano is introduced first, then students are allowed to venture into their favorite genre such as jazz, blues, pop or country.

Viola/Violin

We offer basic, intermediate, and advanced violin lessons for students ages 5-adult. Lessons are typically 30 minutes to 45-minutes in length. Students work on developing correct hand positioning and note reading skills. Classical violin is the main focus of our curriculum.

Voice

We offer basic and intermediate voice lessons for students ages 5-adult. Lessons are typically 30 minutes to 45-minutes in length. Students work on developing correct breathing techniques, pitch, tone and stage presence. Songwriting classes are available for aspiring singer/songwriters. Our digital Protools recording studio is available for student projects.

Guitar

We offer basic guitar lessons for students ages 5-adult. Lessons are typically 30 minutes to 45-minutes in length. Students work on learning basic chord structures, strumming techniques, and vocal performance with the instrument.  

Drums

We offer basic drum lessons for students ages 5-adult. Lessons are typically 30 minutes to 45-minutes in length. Students work on developing proper hand-eye coordination, tempo, rhythm, and fills.
